
THE INSPIRE PROJECT
Inspire is a city-wide 40 week project enabling adults with learning difficulties to link into the professional arts community and develop skills in visual arts, mixed media, sculpting, crafts, photography and much more.
Piloted in 2017 with a showcase in Duncairn Centre for Culture and the Arts.
The two hour workshops are held in Arts for All, Cityside Retail Park Unit D, Belfast Bt15 1WA
Tuesday Workshop 11am - 1pm Introduction to Art
Find your creative flare through mixed media painting to sculpting.
Wednesday Workshop 1pm - 3pm Mixed Expressions
A mixture of Arts, Crafts and Wellbeing
Friday Workshop 10.30am - 12.30 Art in Motion
Experimental and fun way of using photography, video and mixed media
Every artistic session being led by two professional Northern Ireland based artists. This somewhat unique experience provides all participants with an opportunity to explore creative expression.
This can and has developed a pathway for:
-Confidence
-Self Expression
-Social interaction
-Skills building
-Further training.
