The John Luke Gallery launched an exhibition of older people's work on Thursday 4th September 2014. Around 40 people attended the launch and enjoyed and admired the work of five local artists:

- Ellen Smyth
- Mary McGrath
- Anne Cree
- Wesley Lewis
The paintings are mixed media and reflect scenes from across Ireland, Scotland and further afield.
