The Arts for All and ArtsEkta textile group had a great day in Edinburgh on 15th August. The group went to see the Great Scottish tapestry and the Scottish Diaspora tapestry which were both exhibited s part of the Edinburgh Festival. The artist from the two tapestries, renowned community artist Andrew Crummy met the group and talked about the process of developing these two stunning tapestries. This visit has really inspired participants as they start to sew the next panel of: the port and docks of Belfast: imagined through textiles.
